About Us

Bradfield College’s beautiful nine-hole course was designed by renowned architect Donald Steel whose list of major championship courses include many Open venues. The Course was then opened in 1998 by former Ryder Cup Captain Bernard Gallacher.

Over the years Bradfield Golf Course has welcomed many European tour winners including Sam Torrance, Ronan Rafferty, Barry Lane, Paul McGinley & Anthony Wall.

The course is managed by Bradfield Commercial Ltd (BCL) on behalf of the college.

Today the college still recognises the generosity of multiple Old Bradfieldians who helped make the dream of a Golf Course at Bradfield a reality. Noticeable recognition is given to Mr Chris Hacking, a former Club President, for his major contribution without which the Course would not have been built.

The course hosts both students and a well subscribed Membership Club, welcoming new members to join all year round. The Club enjoys a full calendar of events which all members are encouraged to join in.

All Members are expected to respect the dress code of smart, casual attire (No denim or T-shirts).

Members are reminded to not bring Dogs with them whilst playing – No dogs are permitted on the course at any time.

We have a “one of a kind” Indoor Performance Studio with over 2,000sq feet of space in which to hone your game.  Trackman technology is provided for innovative coaching and support by our Golf Professional.

The outdoor facilities comprise of a full size USGA putting/chipping green with (Tyrell’s) green side bunker & a Huxley 4 bay practice net.

All Members are welcomed in the refurbished Clubhouse built in 2017, and to make use of all the facilities on a self-service basis.

As a member you can choose to join as an individual, couple or family. Discounts are also available for Bradfield Sports Complex Members & Bradfield College Parents and Past pupils.  The membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March.
